Film Analysis Essay Structure

Film Analysis Essay StructureEvery film analysis essay should include a structure, and an essay for a film may have many different types of structures, each with their own purpose. This can vary depending on the type of film. So lets take a look at the structure of a film analysis essay. Before I start on this post, I want to say that this article is going to be about film analysis essay structure, and not about film reviews. That will be another post. So keep this in mind.As an essay, the structure usually consists of three parts. The first part is the introduction. This is the part that introduces the topic to the reader. This might be as simple as a few sentences, as long as several pages, but it needs to be good. As a rule of thumb, a good introduction should be engaging and a little bit surprising. The second part of the essay is the body. This part is basically just going to be the outline for the film, so to speak. This is where the reader will go, after the introduction, to und erstand what the point of the film is. It also will be the part where the structure, and the actual essay, get starting. The third part of the essay is the paragraph sum. This is a short description of a few main points of the film. Now that we are talking about film analysis essay structure, I want to mention the importance of rhythm. The order that the paragraphs are in is important. However, the order of the paragraphs does not matter as much as the use of proper rhythm. A good sentence structure should be used, but the use of words like 'excellent'well' may be more appropriate.Language also should be used in a way that gets across the message. For example, if a writer makes a statement like 'The ending was stupid,' he or she needs to say more than 'The ending was stupid.' An appropriate next word to use would be 'poorly executed,' as the writer would want to emphasize the fact that the story was poorly done.Any writing project that includes essays needs to follow a structure. This will make the process easier, as well as ensure that the essay will be used to make sense of the film.
